Pastor Lyddale Akins formerly served as a Minister to Youth at The Cathedral Assembly by the Shore in Asbury Park, New Jersey, and served as a Staff Youth Pastor of New Hope Baptist Church, East Orange New Jersey. Pastor Akins pioneered and began his ministry as a small house church called House of Prayer in 2006 in Asbury Park, New Jersey. The Lord had open a door for his growing ministry to link with another ministry that was struggling, which lead him to merge his ministry and serve as the Pastor at Triumphant Life Church Assembly of God in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Once in ministry Pastor Akins blazed a trail and worked hard at finding the pulse of the city. He joined Asbury/Neptune Ministerial Alliance, Prevention First, became a Commissioner for the Asbury Park Housing Authority, Vice President of the Asbury Park High School Leaders Council and worked with Interfaith Neighborhood Steering Committee and various other programs he continues to be a part of. He has served the community through outreaches, feed the hunger programs and serving the needs of his congregation. His love for youth drives him to serve as a Substitute Teacher at Asbury Park High School where he continues to touch the lives of students. In addition, he has taken on the role as a male mentor for Gentlemen of Distinction where he continues to transform the lives of young men within the School.
